GEORGE FLEMING (1850-1915)

George Fleming (1850-1915) was a prominent and lifelong citizen of Wendell, Massachusetts. He was chair of the selectboard, town treasurer and tax collector. He was elected to the Legislature in 1892 and served one term. He and his wife Eva Ina Goldsmith Fleming lived on the north Common on the land of the Richardson family. Mrs. Fleming was the sister of Wallace Goldsmith.

Old Home Day 2025 featured photographs by Edward Judice who lived in Wendell for over 20 years. This beautiful exhibit had a huge turnout.
